Main Focus
I am an isotope geochemist researching Earth’s past climate variability. I develop and refine proxy records in geo-archives, such as speleothems, to reconstruct past hydro-climate in the Quaternary. A particular focus is reconstructing ancient rainfall in eastern Africa and Arabia on human migrational pathways.
